The National Rural Water Association and the
Chrysler Group have created a partnership to offer a Volume Incentive Program (VIP) to State Rural
Water Associations and their utility system members. This partnership combines the buying power of
31,000 individual utilities to provide reduced fleet pricing on utility vehicles.

"Flushable" Bathroom Wipes Clogging Sewer Systems
Popular bathroom wipes -- pre-moistened towelettes that
are often advertised as flushable -- are being blamed for
creating clogs and backups in the nation's sewer systems.
If your municipality is having trouble with sewer backups
due to these bathroom wipes, educate your community to
dispose of these wipes by placing of them in the trash
can instead of flushing them down the toilet.
Wipes aren't the only things clogging sewer systems: fats,
oils, grease, rags, and paper are the top five things that
should not be flushed down the toilet.
